Samsung Is Already Working On Exynos 2200 Successor, Likely For Galaxy S23
Contrary to recent rumors, Samsung may launch the Galaxy S23 phones with Exynos processors next year, at least in some regions. This information comes shortly after the Korean media reported that Samsung will not launch a new high-end Exynos processor in 2023 and 2024.
The planned custom SoC may not be ready before 2025 and Samsung prefers to use third-party processors till then. Of course, there’s no confirmation yet about the said S5E9935 chipset powering the Galaxy S23 phones next year.
Along with the S5E9925 processor, Samsung also has a mid-range Exynos SoC in the works, currently identified as S5E8535.
