Broadway’s KPOP Sets Abrupt Closing Date

It will be a special event featuring a panel discussion that will celebrate and reflect on AAPI representation on the Broadway stage. Bringing the music and world of K-pop and Korean culture to Broadway, KPOP follows fictional K-pop music superstars (solo artist MwE, girl group RTMIS, and boy band F8) as they risk everything for a one-night-only concert while facing personal struggles that threaten their careers. Luna, Min, BoHyung, and Woo all arrive on the Broadway stage with career experience as K-pop musicians. Cherie B. Tay serves as production stage manager, and casting is by Tara Rubin Casting.

Here’s the story of a lunar image that doesn’t look remarkable, but really is

After launching on a Falcon 9 rocket in August 2022, the Korean Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter slid into orbit around the Moon last month. Here is a photograph taken by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter in 2009, shortly after it reached the Moon. A higher ISO setting makes for a brighter image, but increasing ISO comes with a cost. The top quarter of the image shows the base of a steep wall, and the remainder of the image shows the crater floor. This image does not show any direct evidence of water ice or other elements of interest to scientists and explorers.
